Rainbow Projects Ltd is the first company in East Africa which can provide all the facets of golf course and sports pitch construction in one complete package.

We have a team dedicated to providing professional services to projects of any size, from Golf Course and Sports pitch Construction, to Large Scale landscaping and Irrigation.

Rainbow Projects Ltd now also offer a Civil Infrastructure service including earthworks, roads, storm water, water, and waste water design and build solutions. Survey and Master Planning services are also offered.

Services

Design, supply, installation and maintenance of Irrigation Systems:

Rainbow is at the forefront of landscape and sports turf irrigation in Kenya, and has successfully installed and consulted
on Irrigation projects in various parts of the Country. We aim to provide each customer with the most economical and
efficient irrigation system and to back it up with after sales service, maintenance and parts.
Specialising in pop-up turf irrigation systems, Rainbow are the agent for Toro Irrigation products which are used in 75 of
the top 100 golf courses worldwide.
All Rainbow Projects Ltd. work comes with a minimum of a 1 years warranty against manufacturers defect or problems
resulting from poor design and installation. We also offer tailor made maintenance and operational contracts for
irrigation systems installed by the company. Experienced staff are available for the above purpose, an emergency service
is included in the contract, being available 24 hours a day

Golf Course design and construction

Rainbow Projects Ltd has acted as Project Managers and construction facilitators for Ireland based international Golf
Course designer, David Jones. David has designed many Golf Courses in Ireland, European countries and more recently
in East Africa. A former Kenya Open Champion, David serves on the board of directors of The European Tour as
Chairman of European Tour Properties. He has been travelling & playing professional Golf worldwide and in Africa for
nearly forty years, and is thus very familiar with local conditions
Rainbow is able to provide turnkey solutions for golf course projects from conceptual design all the way through to
construction and commissioning, this can be done for a single tee or green complex all the way through to a 36 hole golf
estate. We have a wide range of experience in golf course earthworks, shaping, drainage, and irrigation. We have also
designed and constructed large scale manmade lined lakes and river systems including rock wall edging and waterfalls.
Rainbow have also designed and built various structural golf course features such as stone and timber bridges, and
associated small structures such as irrigation pump houses etc.
Rainbow owns a comprehensive range of earth moving machinery and is continuing to acquire golf specific machinery to
advance its role as the foremost golf course construction company in Kenya.

Civil Engineering works

As well as providing the structures associated with golf courses and irrigation systems Rainbow provide a comprehensive Civil Engineering infrastructure design and build service.

We have experience in earthworks, rock breaking, road works, storm water drainage, domestic water reticulation, soil retention structures, bridges, culverts, pump house structures, river and lake structures, airstrips, and have built the civil structures in electricity substations.
